PUAFIR210 — Prevent Injury

5 learning parts

This course helps learners understand workplace hazards, identify risks, apply suitable safety controls, use protective equipment and recognise when changing conditions affect safety.

It is a strong starting point for new firefighters, volunteers and emergency-services learners because it builds the safety awareness that supports all other operational learning.

Which course should you start first?

I recommend starting with PUAFIR210 — Prevent Injury.

It gives learners a solid grounding in workplace hazards, risk control, personal safety and reporting. Once that foundation is in place, PUAFIR303 — Suppress Wildfire makes even more sense.

Note: Suggested study order on FireRescue Training Hub does not replace official training package prerequisite requirements for nationally recognised training or assessment.

How do I get started?

  1. Create a free learner account or log in to the FireRescue members site.
  2. Choose either PUAFIR210 or PUAFIR303.
  3. Work through the lessons in order.
  4. Complete the knowledge checks and final assessment.
  5. Receive your FireRescue Certificate of Course Completion after meeting the course requirements.
